Dry… But Still Fairly Muggy Tonight -Bill Graul
Slight Chance of Showers & T-Storms Thursday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 67F / Thursday’s Forecast High: 83F…
What I like to call “heavy rainers” impacted parts of the viewing area later Tuesday into Tuesday night… with some parts of southern Minnesota, NE Iowa and SW Wisconsin picking up 1″ to 3″+ of rainfall. Only .21″ of rain fell at the La Crosse airport.
It will be dry tonight, but mostly cloudy for much of the night as well. It will also still be fairly muggy with seasonable lows in the 59-67F range.
More clouds than sun Thursday with a slight chance of showers and t-storms, especially later in the day and into part of Thursday night. Highs will be in the 80-86F range, and still rather muggy as well. Just isolated showers and t-storms possible Friday, with highs in the low 80s.
Looking Ahead… Partly sunny and dry Saturday, then a small chance of showers and storms Sunday. Highs will be in the low-mid 80s both days, with more humid conditions on Sunday after a brief break from the higher humidity on Saturday.
Chance of scattered showers and storms Monday, then Tuesday through Thursday looks mainly dry at this point. Humid Monday as well with highs in the mid 80s, then lower 80s will be common through Thursday. Overnight lows will remain in the 60s for most, perhaps some 50s north and east.
Have a great Wednesday night! -Meteorologist Bill Graul
