Driver injured in rollover crash in Onalaska

3-vehicle crash happened at Main Street and Sandlake Road

The driver of a car in a rollover crash on Main Street and Sandlake Road in Onalaska was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning.

Onalaska police told News 8 a pickup truck and a Ford sedan were both traveling east on Main Street at about 8:30 a.m., when the truck decided to turn left and the collision caused the car to flip on its roof in the middle of the intersection. For some reason, the car’s airbag didn’t deploy.

A minivan was also involved in the crash. The driver of the truck and minivan were not injured. Those two vehicles had minor damage.

Onalaska police ticketed the truck driver for inattentive driving.

Onalaska police had to control traffic for about an hour, but neither the streets remained open. The scene was cleared at about 9:30 a.m.
