‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign underway in Wisconsin, Minnesota
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Drivers are reminded to not drink and drive or risk possibly deadly consequences.
Law enforcement across Wisconsin will add extra patrols on roads across the state starting Friday.
The extra enforcement is part of the ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign.
Last year, alcohol-related crashes in Wisconsin resulted in 160 deaths and more than 3,000 injuries.
Wisconsin’s campaign runs through January 1st.
Extra enforcement is out on Minnesota roads as well, through December 28th.
