Downtown Mainstreet hosts Santa workshop
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The Claus family is in town this month as they make a stop in downtown La Crosse. Downtown Mainstreet held a workshop where kids could come and participate in holiday-themed activities.
Visitors spent the day coloring and decorating Christmas themed items and then sat down with Santa for a picture and to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.
Santa will be here most days between now and Christmas at Downtown Mainstreet. He says that while that is a lot of time to devote, it is all worth it when he sees what it means to the kids.
“Joy on the face of the children. You could not buy that kind of joy if you had all the money in the world. It’s absolutely amazing,” said Santa Claus
If you would like to visit Santa, you can see him Wednesday through Saturday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
