Donna Troyanek

Donna K. Troyanek, 72, of La Crosse passed away at her home on Monday, May 9, 2022. She was born July 12, 1949, in La Crosse to Lyle and Theo (Wilcox) Marshall.

Donna graduated from La Crosse Central High School in 1967 and Winona Secretarial School in 1968. On February 27, 1969, she married David Lee Troyanek, and they had three children, Jeannie, Matthew and Elizabeth. After 27 years of marriage, they divorced. During David’s career in the Air Force, the family moved to several different parts of the United States and the world, including Texas, California, Minnesota, Louisiana, Italy, Germany and Wyoming. She worked and retired as a civil service employee for the Department of Defense.

Donna enjoyed painting and other art forms. She loved animals and was a proud owner of several dogs through the years. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in La Crosse.

Donna is survived by two children, Matthew (Ruth) Troyanek of Laramie, Wyoming, and Elizabeth “Lisa” (Morgan) Osantowski of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren, Emmaline, Violet and Owen; a brother, Mike Marshall of Coon Valley, and nieces and nephews Wade, Jill, Jana, Janelle, Jeremy and Connie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jeannie Rud; a brother, Charles Marshall, and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Marshall.
