Dog owners in La Crosse County reminded to have their dogs licensed

Dogs need to be licensed by April 1st

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Pet owners in La Crosse County are being reminded to make sure their dogs are licensed and that they have the rabies vaccine.

The La Crosse County Health Department sent out the reminder Monday morning.

State law requires all dogs in Wisconsin five months of age and older have a license.

You can get your license at your municipal treasurers office.

All dogs need their license by April 1st and after that, there is a $25 late fee.
