DNR to open state campgrounds June 10
Special conditions will be put in place to ensure safety of staff and visitors
MADISON, Wis. (WKBT) – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will reopen state campgrounds on Wednesday, June 10 with special conditions to ensure the safety of staff and visitors.
The DNR asks visitors to take care of parks, forests and other day-use areas by taking garbage and recyclables home and following the Leave No Trace principles to help protect the land for many generations.
Visitors are also encouraged to wear masks when social distancing is difficult.
