Democratic presidential candidate holds virtual campaign for western Wisconsin
Biden also held a rally in Milwaukee
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Former Vice President Joe Biden is on the virtual campaign trail Wednesday.
Biden held a virtual roundtable with U.S. representative Ron Kind to talk about rural issues in the La Crosse area and how to help farmers rebound.
“If I were president today here’s what I’d be doing. I would have the federal government purchse milk from dairy farmers that lost their big purchasers like restaurants an schools and had been badly hit by this trade policy that made no sense. And so, what’s happening is we have to make sure the food goes now because we’ve lost those partners. And now they can’t even afford it to non-profits to feed the hungry,” said presidential candidate Joe Biden.
