Democratic Party volunteers are working to win big next election
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Election day is one year away, and some in the state are looking to get ready for next November
This weekend 2,000 Democratic Party volunteers are working to win big next election.
Volunteers are canvassing neighborhoods to hear what people are most concerned about, and what they’d like to see change in the government.
The chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, Ben Wikler, says listening to voter concerns is important, because every vote counts.
“We’ve got to fight for every vote, we can’t take anyone for granted, we can’t write anyone off, we’ve got to be out there talking to people neighbor to neighbor, and that’s why democrats are organizing across the state right now for the one year to win weekend.”
Volunteers plan on knocking on around 50,000 doors across the state over the weekend.
