Democratic candidate for 32nd District Senate seat meets with community members around the region
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) – Democrat Paul Michael Weber of La Crosse met with community members on Thursday.
Weber is running for the 32nd District Senate seat, which was formally held by Jennifer Shilling.
On Thursday he made stops in La Crosse, Onalaska, and West Salem.
He says he wants to focus on education, health care, employment, and making sure communities are safe.
Weber says he’s dedicated to serving everyone in the district.
“First and foremost, I’m running for Senate for the people, for the people of La Crosse and for the people in our surrounding areas.”
Weber was born and raised in the La Crosse area.
He’s is running against Jayne Swiggim of Crawford County, former Secretary-Designee of the Wisconsin DATCP Brad Pfaff, and former Republican State Senator Dan Kapanke.
The primary election is August 11th.
