Delta adds third daily flight between La Crosse and Twin Cities
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Delta Airlines will add a third daily flight from La Crosse Regional Airport to Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport beginning June 5.
The new flight, operated by Skywest Airlines, will leave at about 3:55 p.m. and arrive in Minneapolis at about 5:05 p.m. Flight schedules vary and are subject to change.
The flight is a welcome addition to the current schedule, which includes two daily Delta flights to Minneapolis and one to Detroit, according to airport director Ian Turner.
“This additional flight speaks to the strength of our region and our partnership with Delta and SkyWest,” said Turner. “It has taken hard work by the community to make LSE exceptional and the airlines’ commitment to us shows that hard work pays off.”
Service will be provided on CRJ200 aircraft, which is the same aircraft SkyWest currently operates out of La Crosse.
“Whether heading to Minneapolis or beyond, these new flights provide travelers greater access and options for all their travel plans,” said Greg Atkin, SkyWest’s managing director of Market Development. “Passengers can also fly with confidence thanks to the multiple safety measures that are in place, including enhanced cleaning, mandatory face coverings and customer self-assessments with check-in.”
