De Soto school board approves of reopening plan
The plan features three instructional model options for parents to choose for their children
DE SOTO, Wis (WKBT) – As the school year approaches, more schools are preparing plans to reopen.
The De Soto Area School board has approved the district’s reopening plan.
The plan features three instructional model options for parents to choose for their children.
The traditional model allows students to learn in a school setting.
Remote Choice learning allows students to learn from their homes and connect through Google Classroom.
The third option provides parents with the ability to enroll their children in the De Soto Virtual Charter School, which has already been providing online learning while at home to local students and others from around the state for the past 5 years.
The district is hosting virtual ‘town hall’ meetings for families so they can ask questions and provide feedback. The next two scheduled dates are Monday, August 10 at 3:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 27 at 7:00 p.m.
