Davis twins put pen to paper for Wisconsin basketball

Johnny and Jordan Davis officially put pen to paper Wednesday in Central’s Sutton Gym to sign and play for Wisconsin men’s basketball.

The brothers were all smiles as they signed in front of their parents, Central head coach Todd Fergot and a full gym of students and fellow athletes.

Both say they couldn’t really sleep last night because of their excitement, but they’re ready to be headed to the next level side by side.

“I wasn’t going to go anywhere else without my brother,” Johnny said. “He’s my go-to man, he’s been by my side my whole entire life. To be able to go to college with him and play the sport we both love is truly incredible.”

“I’ve dreamed about this moment ever since I saw it on ESPN, those top recruits in the country signing their letters of intent, and to see that day come true is truly a blessing,” Jordan said.

The twins and the rest of Central boys basketball have their season-opening practice next Monday.
