Davante Adams status up in air for Colts game

Davante Adams hasn’t been on the field every game this season, but he still leads the entire NFL in catches a game with almost nine, receiving yards a game, and touchdowns.

You’d naturally figure he could be a game-breaker against the extremely tough Colts defense this Sunday, but Adams may not be available.

Adams injured his ankle during the Jags game last weekend and was out for a bit before coming back and catching a key touchdown pass for the Packers. But Adams has not participated in drills for two straight days, and he was just downgraded from limited to did not participate on the injury report.

It doesn’t look good on paper, but Adams sounds optimistic.

“I’m not even going to go there as far as guaranteeing if I’m playing or not, but that’s the idea,” Adams said. “Any time where I feel like I can come back into a game like that, typically speaking my mindset going into the next week is I’ll be able to roll.”

The good news for Green Bay is both Jaire Alexander and Kevin King were full participants at practice and should be ready to play Sunday.
