Dash Park bringing the holiday spirit to Onalaska
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — A signature tree in Onalaska is now lighting up Dash Park.
The City of Onalaska Parks and Recreation, along with Centering Onalaska, held an annual holiday lighting event on Thursday where everything was turned on for the first time.
Children, parents, and volunteers who created the magic, gathered around the park to meet with Santa, take part in coloring events, and witness the lights turn on.
For the last several years, the City has partnered with Centering Onalaska, a volunteer beautification group in Onalaska. Wreaths and garlands have been hung on the Main Street light poles, along with snowflakes on the HWY 35 poles. Centering Onalaska has decorated City Hall with wreaths and garlands, to compliment the street decorations.
