Crews fight early morning house fire in Cochrane

BUFFALO COUNTY, Wis. (WKBT) — The American Red Cross is helping a family whose house caught fire early Wednesday morning at 103 W. 4th Street in the Village of Cochrane.
The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office said the call came in at about 2:10 a.m. The Tri-Community Fire Department responded to the scene and requested mutual aid from the Fountain City Fire Department.
The fire caused major structural damage to the house. Damage estimates are not known at this time. The Sheriff’s Office said Daniel and Tammie Christensen lived in the house.
The Tri-Community Fire Department and the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
