COVID-19 vaccine appointments full at Gundersen Health System
When patients are eligible, they will be contacted online or by mail
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Gundersen Health System says all of their COVID-19 vaccine appointments are full.
Availability depends on the supply they receive.
They are following the DHS vaccination rollout plan to ensure those at highest risk get the vaccine first.
Every Monday, Gundersen will provide appointment updates.
While the Health System was getting the amount of doses they requested, that has changed.
“This past week, we have received half of what we ordered for vaccines. And we’re seeing that across the state and across the country. The vaccine supplies aren’t as generous as we would like them to be,” said Gundersen Health System vice president Lisa Weid.
When Gundersen patients are eligible to schedule a vaccination appointment, they will see a message in their MyChart online patient portal or receive a letter in the mail.
