COVID-19 testing site returns to La Crosse County Health & Human Services Building

Site will be available most Mondays through Dec. 13

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A weekly COVID-19 testing site is back in La Crosse — at La Crosse County’s Health and Human Services building.

The site staffed by Wisconsin National Guard members resumed at 11 a.m. Monday after closing late August, and 200 tests will be available.

“We are hoping that 200 tests is adequate,” said Paula Silha, the county Health Department’s COVID-19 response testing lead.” I did hear that one of the other National Guard sites last week had run out of tests, so I alerted the Guard that 200 might not be enough.”

The free drive-thru testing will be available most Mondays through Dec. 13.

You do not need an appointment.
