COVID-19 swab testing set for July 10 at Logan High
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The La Crosse County Health Department will partner with the Wisconsin National Guard and Logan High School in La Crosse to host a drive-through nasal swab testing site for COVID-19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 10, at the school.
The testing site will be open to anyone 5 and older who is experiencing any of the following symptoms — even if the symptoms are mild — fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills or repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.
The site is intended for La Crosse County residents. Lines may become long, and attendees need to remain in their vehicles. Participants should bring a book or other in-car entertainment.
Antibody testing will not be done.
Additional guidance, including a traffic entry point map, will be publicized when available. Status updates on the number of tests remaining will be shared periodically on the July 10 on the department’s Facebook page and website.
