Countdown to Noon celebrated in La Crosse
While 2020 didn’t officially didn’t start until midnight on January 1st, some area kids got a head start on celebrating Tuesday.
The Countdown to Noon celebrations were held today at the Children’s Museum in downtown La Crosse.
Traditional countdown favorites like party hats and noise makers are joined with bubble wrap.
With so many adults excited for what the new year brings, the event gives kids a chance to join in the fun.
“It was very loud and there were balloons everywhere and once or twice someone would stomp on a balloon,” said Countdown to Noon antendee Henry Burns.
This is the 20th year of the event.
