Coulee Region Virtual Academy registration deadline nears

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The extended registration deadline for the Coulee Region Virtual Academy (CRVA) ends on Sunday, August 2, 2020.

According to a news release from the School District of La Crosse, nearly 900 students have registered for CRVA, which is a tuition-free academy for students enrolled in the public school districts of La Crosse, Bangor, West Salem, Onalaska, and Holmen. CRVA registered students will remain enrolled in their current school.

District staff will provide technology (tablets or laptops depending on the grade level) for all K-12 La Crosse students to facilitate virtual learning. The district will also assist families with internet connectivity challenges.

CRVA registration and additional information can be found here.

At this time, the School District of La Crosse will be opening virtually this fall for all students, 4K-12, for at least the month of September. When students and staff do return to in-person learning, masks will be required for all students in grades 1-12 and staff (except for those with necessary restrictions) in all phases of the La Crosse County Health Department COVID-19 Compass.

Continued updates will be available on the district’s website,
