Coulee Region Mardi Gras launches Masquer’AID’ online fundraising campaign for Aquinas Catholic School teachers, students
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – It’s hard to outshine Mardi Gras, so the pandemic is raining on its parade instead.
Each year the Coulee Region Mardi Gras holds a number of events leading up to Fat Tuesday, raising money for Aquinas Catholic School teachers and students.
The money raised goes toward grants for things like tuition assistance and teaching resources, such as updated technology.
But 2021’s colorful festivities are being put on pause.
That’s not stopping the organization from carrying out its annual tradition.
This year members are fundraising by launching an online Masquer’AID’ campaign.
People can make donations starting Tuesday through March 31st by visiting lacrossemardigras.com.
If you prefer to pay with cash or check, send it to P.O. Box 1433, La Crosse, WI 54602.
