Coulee Region heroes honored by 7 Rivers Cardiac Arrest Preparedness and Education group
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The 7 Rivers Cardiac Arrest Preparedness and Education group, or CAPE, is honoring local heroes.
Personnel from Gundersen Tri-State and MedComm got their awards today.
All together, CAPE is honoring nearly 300 people who helped save a life from cardiac arrest over the past two years.
“It’s nice to know that someone makes it out, can stay with their families, make memories, especially with the holidays coming up,” says Award Recipient Kylie Nordie. “It’s really nice to know we made a difference.”
The awards are typically given out during a banquet ceremony, but due to the pandemic, CAPE is bringing the awards directly to the heroes.
