Coulee Collaborative reports 33rd La Crosse County COVID-19 death
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The Coulee COVID-19 Collaborative Monday reported an additional COVID-19 death in La Crosse County, bringing the total number of county residents who have succumbed to the virus to 33.
Thirty-one of the deaths have happened since Oct. 1.
The Wisconsin Department of Health reported 61 people tested positive in La Crosse County since Sunday, bringing the total cases since March to 7,401.
New cases in La Crosse County include:
- Three people under age 9;
- Four people between the ages of 10-19;
- Seventeen people in their 20s;
- Seven people in their 30s;
- Six people in their 40s;
- Twelve people in their 50s;
- Six people in their 60s;
- Four people in their 70s; and
- Two people in their 90s.
Wisconsin reported 3,095 new cases statewide, bringing the total to 357,771.
Six Wisconsinites have died of the virus since Sunday, bringing the total to 3,011. An additional 107 people were hospitalized.
Seventy-eight percent of cases have recovered.
