Coronavirus Headquarters: Community Closings (3/19)
La Crosse County, Wis. (WKBT) – Here are some of the things changing in our community on Thursday.
Western Technical College is closing all campus locations to the public, and classes will begin using alternative methods on Monday.
The School District of La Crosse will be giving away FREE meals for kids at different sites throughout the district beginning Thursday. There will be pick up locations along ten bus routes throughout La Crosse.
Day care restrictions implemented by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers will go into effect Thursday. Child Care Centers may no longer operate with more than 50 children, and more than ten staff.
Thursday is the last day the Salvation Army of La Crosse Food Pantry will be open. Any future assistance will be provided by the WAFER food pantry.
The Restaurant at the Charmant Hotel is offering take out and curbside delivery options beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020 by calling 608.519.8830 from the hours of 11:00 am-11:00 pm. Updated menu for takeout offerings available on Facebook.
The Dahl Auto Museum will be closed through April 8 to minimize group activity.
