Construction on La Crosse’s Copeland Avenue bridge begins Monday
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Starting Monday the Copeland Avenue Bridge that goes over the La Crosse River will be under some construction.
There will be lane and sidewalk closures on the bridge. The southbound lanes will merge together into one lane and shifted over the north side of the road.
No formal alternate routes will be posted, so if you plan on taking the bridge expect delays. The lane closures will shift to the other side when the first side is complete. All lanes are expected to return to normal by September 24th.
