Cool Tonight… But Not as Chilly as Last Night -Bill Graul
Rain Likely Tuesday Night & Wednesday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 46F / Tuesday’s Forecast High: 67F…
Passing clouds tonight will keep temps from dropping as much as they did last night, when some areas saw frosty conditions… especially north and east. Lows tonight will range from the mid-upper 30s (traditional cold spots north/east) to the mid 40s in the La Crosse area.
Partly to mostly cloudy Tuesday and most areas will remain dry most of the day. Highs will be in the 60s. Chance of rain showers late in the day, especially south/west. Rain then becomes likely Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Highs on Wednesday will only be in the 55-60F range.
Small chance of showers Thursday and still cool with highs in the mid 60s. Partly sunny and warmer Friday with highs in the low-mid 70s.
Looking Ahead… Warmer for the Memorial Day holiday weekend, with highs in the mid 70s Saturday… then low 80s for many on Sunday and Memorial Day Monday. With the warmer air will come a little humidity and at least slight chances for periodic showers and t-storms. However, there will also be plenty of dry hours each day… and we will fine tune the rain chances as the holiday weekend gets closer.
Have a great Monday night! -Meteorologist Bill Graul
