Convicted sex offender to be released in La Crosse Tuesday

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A convicted sex offender will be released in La Crosse on Tuesday, December 2, according to the La Crosse Police Department.
Austin L. Conger, 26, was convicted of 3rd and 4th degree sexual assault and false imprisonment. La Crosse police said Conger had sexual contact with juvenile females whom he tried to hold against their will.
Conger will live at 809 Rose Street in La Crosse. Police said he will have to comply with standard sex offender rules and cooperate with the GPS electronic monitoring program. As part of his special supervision conditions, Conger may not have unsupervised contact with minors and cannot go to taverns/bars/liquor stores.
