Convicted sex offender to be released in Eau Claire
John Ashley convicted in May 2008
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WKBT) — The Wisconsin Department of Corrections has notified the Eau Claire Police Department that convicted sex offender John Ashley will be released from prison on Tuesday, October 2, 2014.
Ashley was convicted of first degree sexual assault of a child on May 20, 2008. He will live in the 100 block of Randall Street in the City of Eau Claire and will be under the supervision of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Along with GPS monitoring, Ashley’s parole rules also include:
No Supervised contact with minors
No contact with victims No consumption of alcohol or other drugs
No taverns, bars, or liquor stores Comply with sex offender rules Cooperate with electronic monitoring Comply with all requirements as a lifetime registrant of Wisconsin’s Sex Offender Registration Program
All sex offenders in Wisconsin are listed on the Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registry website.
