RIVER FLOOD WARNING remains in effect until further notice for the Mississippi River at Wabasha and the PdC/McGregor area. Minor flooding is occurring.

Some areas will see a brief period of sunshine this morning. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies today with continued cool high temps in the upper 40s to around 50F. Average high this time of year is around 60F. NW winds 10-15 mph, with gusts of 20-25 mph, will make it feel even cooler.

Clouds will gradually decrease tonight and winds will become light around 5 mph. This will make for a chilly night with lows in the mid 30s for most. Traditional colder spots north and east could see frosty lows in the upper 20s to around 30F.

Partly cloudy and warmer Thursday with highs in the mid-upper 50s. Winds will be lighter from the S/SE around 5-10 mph.

Looking Ahead… Even warmer Friday thanks to stronger southerly winds and lots of sunshine. Expect highs Friday well into the 60s.

Small chance of rain showers late Friday night into Saturday, especially during the morning hours. Otherwise, it will be mild this weekend with highs both days in the mid 60s. Most of Sunday should be dry. A stronger system will bring a good chance of showers and isolated thunder Sunday night into Monday. It will also be windy Monday and turn cooler with highs in the mid-upper 50s.

Breezy and cooler Tuesday with lingering showers possible early. Highs Tuesday will be in the low 50s. Isolated showers possible Wednesday with highs in the low 50s. Partly sunny Thursday with highs remaining in the low 50s.

Have a wonderful Wednesday! -Bill Graul
