Sunday’s High Temp: 43°F, Tonight’s Low: 23°F. Updated Sunday, January 5, 2020 at 4:15pm…

As expected, northern parts of the viewing area saw some light snow this morning. It moved through quickly, but brought some breezy winds in its wake.

Clouds continue to clear this evening and tonight. Winds will remain breezy out of the NW with gusts up to 30 mph possible early. Lows tonight will range from the upper teens to low 20s.

Monday’s weather looks very quiet and seasonably mild. Sunny to partly sunny skies tomorrow with highs near 40. Winds will also be much lighter than today at about 5-10 mph out of the southwest. Roller coaster of temperatures on the way over the next 8 days.

Looking Ahead… A quick-moving disturbance will bring a slight chance of flurries or a snow shower on Tuesday. Otherwise, expecte colder and breezy conditions. Highs will be more seasonable in the mid to upper 20s.

Partly sunny and seasonable for Wednesday. Highs will top out in the mid 20s.

Another surge of mild air and moisture will move in for Thursday, thanks to a more potent storm system. Right now, forecast models are showing the precip beginning as a rain/snow mix, then changing over to all rain. Stay tuned for updates! Temps will top out in the low 40s.

Colder air ushers in behind Thursday’s system. Highs on Friday will be near 30 degrees, but only 20s for the weekend.

Have a great night! –Michelle Poedel
