Community members rally for justice
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Nuns, professors and activists in the area came together for justice on Sunday.
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of La Crosse held The Rally for Justice at Copeland Park.
Fourteen speakers from area organizations gave their thoughts on social causes such as the environment, sex trafficking, and the rights of women, minorities, immigrants and the LGBTQ community.
The keynote speech was given by the ACLU of Wisconsin youth organizer.
The La Crosse League of Women Voters and The Driftless Voter Coalition provided non-partisan voter registration at the event.
