Community members encouraged to take part in shaping the future of La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – It’s hard to imagine what La Crosse will look like in 20 years, but community members have a chance to create a vision.
You can get involved by stopping by the outdoor Design Studios on Wednesday or Thursday to share your thoughts and view what others have come up with.
The main studio is set up at the Main Street Plaza in the Heron walkway.
There will also be one at the Grounded Patio Cafe and the Downtown Mainstreet office.
Local leaders say the community’s engagement is vital to shaping the future of La Crosse.
“This is so important, not just for downtown La Crosse, but for the city and for our region. How we respond to what’s happening today will make a difference about where we are in a year, five years, and in twenty years,” said Robin Moses, Executive Dir., Downtown Mainstreet.
You can also get involved by participating in an online survey, click here to check it out.
