Below is a list of closings that community members submitted to News 8 Now. Please call ahead to confirm that your event has been canceled or rescheduled. If you have an event to cancel or postpone, please email the details to email@example.com.
2020 Home Show: La Crosse Area Builders Association is postponing the Home Show at the Onalaska Omni Center scheduled for March 27-29 until further notice.
ABLE Foundation: Fun Night scheduled for Saturday, March 21 at La Crescent Snowmobile Club is canceled.

Alma Public Library: Closed March 17 through April 5.

Art Dash: Event scheduled for March 26 at the Cargill Room at the Waterfront has been canceled
Between the Bluffs Beer, Wine and Cheese Festival: Canceled. Ticket holders will have the option of receiving a full refund. As we work through this process, we will provide more details regarding refunds on or before April 1, 2020.
Boundary Agreement Task Force, La Crosse: Meeting on Monday, March 16, canceled.
Campbell Town Hall: Closed to the public except for absentee voting. It is our intention to maintain all essential town functions with our employees continuing to work in their normal capacity while working remotely and/or within the facilities closed to the public. Our goal by taking these additional, extraordinary measures is minimize the change in the level of essential services provided to the community. Casino Queen Marquette: Will temporarily close as of Noon today, March 17 for precautionary reasons. The closure could be for up to 30 days. There have been no cases of COVID-19 at the facility.
Celtic Stories: March 14 event at the Pump House canceled.
Children’s Museum of La Crosse: Temporarily closed beginning March 16. The March 27 Fairytale Ball FUNdraiser has been tentatively rescheduled to April 24.
CMN Hospitals Dairy Queen Free Cone Day – Postponed from March 19 until further notice.
CMN Hospitals Emerald Gala event – Rescheduled from April 3 to July 24. People can keep track of changes at the Gundersen Health System website.
Congressional Forum: March 25 at UWL canceled
Coulee Region Gaming Guild: 24-Hour Gaming Event rescheduled to November 7. Call 608-775-6613 with questions.
Coulee Region Gospel Choir: All remaining March performances are postponed.
Coulee Region Humane Society: Closing doors to public beginning Wednesday, March 18. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only. Dog training will continue with a maximum of 9 people per class. More details here: Coulee Region Human Society Statement
Coulee Region Professional Women: 2020 Holler Bingo for Scholars that was to be held March 28th is postponed and will be rescheduled for later in the year.
Criminal Justice Mgmt. Council – La Crosse: March 18 canceled

Dahl YMCA: Will close at the end of business on Tuesday, March 17 to members. The building will be re-purposed to provide emergency school-age childcare for the community. The Houser Y will remain open to all members.
Diocese of La Crosse: All public Masses in the Diocese of La Crosse are canceled beginning March 20. Live and prerecorded Sunday Mass is available via diolc.org.
Downtown Mainstreet Activities: Spring Fling, Restaurant Week and Downtown Walk Around canceled
Earth Fair: Scheduled for April 25 is canceled
English Lutheran Church: Services and Community Conversations event are canceled.
Faith Lutheran Church of Black Hammer in Spring Grove: All worship services and meals postponed until further notice.
Faith United Methodist Church: Suspending worship services/activities at least through Sunday, April 5. Updates can be found on the church’s Facebook page. Sunday sermons will be on the YouTube channel.
Firehouse 5K Onalaska Fire Department: The event is rescheduled for October 11, 2020, at 8 a.m.
First Free Church: Regular weekend services canceled for March 14-15 & 21-22. Livestream available Sundays at 10:30 a.m. All other programs/events canceled through March 27. First Free offices will remain open Monday – Friday during normal business hours & will continue to serve the community through the Food Pantry on Tuesdays, by appointment.
First Lutheran Church, Onalaska: All worship gatherings Sunday, March 15 and Wednesday, March 18, canceled.
First Presbyterian Church, Galesville: Suspending all activities for the next three weeks. all worship services, Mid-Week Lenten Services for March 18, 25, and April 1, Saturday Worship Services for March 21, 28, and April 4, and Sunday Worship Services for March 22, 29, and April 5 will not be held. Also there will be no Mid-Week Lenten Meals, Circle Meeting, 4 Seasons Book Club Gathering, and Sunday School for March 22, 29, and April 5.

Friends of the Onalaska Library: Canceling Community Grounds Memory Cafe on April 20; No monthly meeting March 26.
Goodwill: All 27 North Central Wisconsin Goodwill retail stores and training centers will be open from 10 too 11 a.m. daily to seniors 60 and older to help them avoid more crowded shopping periods. Hours to the general public will be 11 a.m.-6 p.m. until further notice.
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of La Crosse: Is ceasing all face-to-face services and meetings until further notice.
Great MN Music Series Concert: Concert postponed with a double bill of Corey Median and Erik Koskinen
Gundersen Cancer Support Group: Wednesday, March 25th is canceled.
Gundersen Health Systems Grief Support Group: Canceled each Wednesday from March 26 to April 29.
Gundersen Health System’s Prostate Cancer Support Group: Cancelled on Monday, March 16th at 5 p.m.
Habitat for Humanity La Crosse Area: Suspending the following operations: The ReStore will close, all construction sites, volunteer activities, warehouse operations, all programs, and the 3181 Berlin Street office closed.
Hardies Creek Lutheran Church: All Services, Sunday school, Confirmation classes, and Lenten services canceled.
Harry J. Olson Senior Center: Closed March 16 through April 6 tentatively. Any modifications to this re-opening date will be announced. The LaCrosse County noon meal program will continue to operate until further notice from the LaCrosse County ADRC offices.
Harter’s Quick Clean-Up: The shred event for 4-17 and 4-18 is canceled.
Hazel Brown Leicht Memorial Library in West Salem: Lego Program for March 16 canceled.
High Roller Skating Center: Closed for 4 to 8 weeks.
Hilltop Bar & Ballroom in Fountain City: Chicken nite on March 19 is canceled. It will be back to normal dates after that.
Holmen Area Fire Board: March 18 meeting rescheduled to April 29
Holmen Lutheran Church: All worship, programming, and Building to Serve, A Place to Gather Dedication Sunday events canceled.
Holmen Park & Recreation Department: Canceled Programs (refunds will be issued): Financial Workshops (April 1 and April 8), St. Patrick’s Day Pinata Cupcakes (March 16), April Fools Cupcakes (March 30), Ballroom Dance (remainder of the current session and March 31 & April 2 classes), Horse Lessons.
Suspended Programs(through April 5th): Youth Soccer (Grades 1-8) all practices for the youth soccer teams, Holmen Impact Volleyball program/teams, Yoga Morning Flow, Fit Seniors Plus Adult Zumba, Youth Soccer Academy the start of the program will be moved to Monday, April 6th; Spring Youth Track the start of the program will be moved to Monday, April 13th. Holocaust Educators’ Workshop: Along with survivor Peter Feigl, at Viterbo Fine Arts Center, April 2-3, canceled, along with all over Fine Arts Center events through April 8.
Hope Lutheran High School: Will have school on Monday, March 16. Bring a Lunch. No busing. There will be no meal for Cancer Families in Rochester Sunday, March 15. That has been canceled.
Hope Lutheran High School Friday Fish Frys: Canceled until further notice
Independent Living Resources: Offices will be closed to the public beginning March 16th through March 31st. The agency will still be active and providing services and can be reached by phone at 608-787-1111.
John Bosshard Memorial Library in Bangor: Art in the Library Oil Pastel Class canceled.
La Crescent Community Blood Drive: The drive is set for March 26 at a new location, the La Crescent Area Event Center, 509 North Chestnut Street from Noon to 6 p.m. The need for blood is high.
La Crosse and 3 Rivers Railroad Club: 39th Annual Train Show at the Onalaska Omni Center for March 21 and 22 has been canceled. For info call Belva at 608-780-7364.
La Crosse Area Retired Educators Luncheon: Meeting scheduled for April 6 is canceled
La Crosse Area Suicide Prevention Initiative: Dance for Hope on March 14 is canceled.
La Crosse Community Theater: LCT has decided not to physically hold this year’s party scheduled for April 18, 2020 at the Weber Center. Instead, they will utilize Facebook to bring you posts beginning this week and culminating with a Facebook watch party on April 18, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. They will announce next year’s season, induct their Hall of Fame members, and honor this year’s Volunteers of the Year.
La Crosse County Library: Temporarily cancel Youth programming through April 12. (all storytimes); Two additional Youth Program Cancellations: Thank Goodness its Donut Friday on March 27th (Holmen and Onalaska Locations) and Sias Saturday on March 28th (Onalaska location)
La Crosse Joint Board of Harbor Commissioners: Meeting canceled for March 16 and will be rescheduled

La Crosse Police Department: The 150th Anniversary Event scheduled for April 18 is postponed
La Crosse Public Library: Closed March 18 through April 13. all three locations of the La Crosse Public Library will be closed to the public. During this time, all book drops will be closed. Patrons are encouraged to keep materials that are due until we reopen. Digital services will still be available during this time. Wi-Fi at all three locations will still be available from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM. There is no password, just accept terms and conditions. Library leadership is determining what services can be offered while the physical locations are closed, as well as what ways we can assist the broader community during this time. Patrons are encouraged to check our website (lacrosselibrary.org) and social media for updates.
La Crosse St. Patrick’s Day Parade & 95.7 St. Paddy’s .01K: canceled for Saturday, March 14.
La Crosse Symphony Orchestra: rescheduling the May 2 Simply Sinatra concert to Sunday, September 20 at 2 p.m. at the Viterbo Fine Arts Center. If people have tickets, they are good! Your seats are the same. We will all be ready to come together and enjoy beautiful music by then! The symphony would like to thank Viterbo for making it a priority to getting our concert rescheduled.
As for the June 6th concert, that is currently still scheduled, but will be rescheduled if cancelation is necessary.

Living Word Christian Church: Church services will be live-streamed only on Sundays at 8:30 am and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm on our church website (www.lwcclax.com) and Facebook LIVE. canceled all of its activities but will live streaming church services on Sundays at 8:30 am and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm at www.lwcclax.com.

Mid West Music Fest: Postponing May 1-2 weekend of Fest in Winona. They are exploring options for rescheduling the event and will notify everyone as soon as we know more about getting the fest rescheduled.
Minnesota State College Southeast: Extends Spring Break by 2 weeks through March 29.
Monroe County Fair Maps Forum: The event scheduled for Monday, March 16th has been canceled.
MTU: Closing lobby at Grand River Station. The operation will remain on a normal schedule. Buses will continue to use the outdoor platform as the main transfer point.
Navigating Together: A Grief Retreat: The event scheduled for March 21 at the Franciscan Spirituality Center is canceled

Organic Valley CROPP COOP: Retail Store at the Cashton Office Building is closed; La Farge Retail Store closed to foot traffic, phone and email orders are accepted and filled at the La Farge Retail Store only for employees, members, and community members.
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Westby: Tuesday Night Come for Supper in Westby will be canceled on Tuesday, March 17th.
Pleasant Valley Church, Winona: Online services only for March 15 and 22
Rave Recovery Avenue Drop-In Center: Will be closed beginning March 16th through March 31st. All activities, including evening support groups, have been canceled.
River Rocks Coffee Shop: Until reopening announced.
Rockin’ Out Hunger at Stoney Creek Hotel: Event postponed – ticket holders retain ticket for later date TBD.
Salvation Army of La Crosse: Effective Monday, March 23rd their Food Pantry will be temporarily closed due to concerns of the COVID-19 virus. Their Food Pantry will remain open to the public this week (Monday, March 16th through Thursday, March 19th), but any future assistance can be provided by WAFER until further notice.Canceling Sunday Worship until further notice.
Schuby’s Neighborhood Butcher: All grocery and retail items remain available at our State Street location for home cooking needs, but no in-house dining. You can call ahead for pick-up at 608.615.1076 or order online via EatStreet. Hours and offerings will be reviewed next week.

Story Telling Festival: The April 4 event is canceled.
The Center: 7 Rivers LGBTQ Connection: The Center will be closed to the public, beginning Monday, until at least April 6.

The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern: No in-house dining; takeout and curbside delivery options available by calling 608.782.5400 between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. March 17-21. Closed Sunday, March 22, and will review hours and offerings during the week of March 23.
Tomah Community Table: Canceled March 16, 23, and 30. They will reassess the situation before the April 6 meal.
Trinity Lutheran Church: No worship services until further notice. This would include Saturday evening, Sunday morning, and Wednesday Lenten services. Additionally, there will be no meetings of any kind held in the church building. We will continue to offer a radio service broadcast on Sunday mornings at 8:30am. Please tune in to WKTY AM 580 for our regular Sunday worship over the air, from the comfort of your home. Please also note changes to Trinity’s Monday night outreach programs: Monday’s Meals: Take-out meals only. No one will be permitted access to any part of the building aside from the Narthex, where folks will enter the west-side door (no more than 4 at a time) and exit the main doors after picking up their sack meal to take home. Verve, a Credit Union: Will be temporary closing lobby services at all locations beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18 through March 31, at which time we will reevaluate. Drive-up services will remain available.
Village of Holmen: Due to COVID-19 prevention efforts, State mandates and staff shortages, the Village of Holmen’s facilities (Police Building and Administrative Building) will only be accessible for emergencies only or via appointment only. All action items for consideration in April will instead be considered at the next available meeting dates. The March 31st Planning Commission meeting items will be considered on April 28th. The April 1st Park, Recreation & Library Committee meeting items will be considered on May 6th. The April 2nd Public Works Committee meeting items will be considered on May 7th. Winona Community Foundation: Rescheduling Open House and Ribbon Cutting Event: TBD, The Brisk Walk through the Basics Planned Giving Seminar is being postponed to a later date yet to be determined. Contact the Foundation with any questions.
Winona Community HUB: Event Monday, March 16, canceled.
Winona County Law Enforcement Center:w Temporarily closed to public access, but the public can call the law center for emergency service, which will not bee affected. People should call the center at 507-457-6368 instead of going there.

Wisconsin State Patrol: Graduation ceremony in La Crosse scheduled for Friday, March 20 is canceled
Women of the Moose: Bingo at 1 p.m. Sunday at 1932 Ward Ave. canceled; will be re-evaluated after Easter.
Women’s Fund of Greater La Crosse: The annual Spring Fling event, which was slated for March 28, is canceled. At this time, it does not plan to reschedule this event for this year.
