College in La Crosse, Eau Claire, Winona not requiring the COVID-19 vaccine

Marquette University in Milwaukee is requiring the vaccine for students.

LA CROSSE, Wis./Winona, Minn. (WKBT) – UW-La Crosse, Viterbo and Western Technical College tell News 8 Now they are not requiring vaccination.

37.8 percent of La Crosse County’s 18 to 24-year-olds have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, below the state average for the age.

UW-Eau Claire is not requiring vaccinations either.

That is also the case for Winona State, Saint Mary’s University and Minnesota State College Southeast in Winona

The colleges and universities are encouraging students to get the vaccine.
