‘Coats for Kids’ drive underway in La Crosse area
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — You have the chance to keep kids from our area warm this winter.
Catholic Charities’ annual ‘Coats for Kids’ campaign is underway in the La Crosse area.
Donations of new or gently used coats, mittens, gloves, hats, boots and snow pants are needed.
Kwik Trip store in La Crosse, Onalaska, Holmen, West Salem and Stoddard will serve as donation locations for the drive.
Every donation can make a big impact.
“It’s very important, if it’s a new or gently used item and it no longer fits your child and somebody else can benefit from that, it definitely helps those families in need over the holiday season and over the tough winter months,” said Kevin Burch, director of housing services for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse.
Donations can be made through November 22nd.
