Clutch offense lifts Loggers, return to La Crosse Friday for home opener

The Loggers battled back from an early deficit to beat the Rockford Rivets 6-4 in Illinois Thursday night.

La Crosse trailed 3-0 after four innings but then scored their six runs over the next three frames.

Trey Harris put the Loggers ahead with a two-run single in the seventh, and pitchers Cam Robinson and Jared Freilich held the Rivets’ batrs scoreless over the final few frames.

The Loggers have their home opener Friday night at 7:05 against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders.
