Clear & Mild Night Ahead. Storms Possible Sunday.
Saturday’s High: 87°F, Tonight’s Forecast Low: 65°F
It was a warm and sunny Saturday across the area with highs in the mid 80s for most. Humidity levels have been fairly comfortable today, but that will be changing for Sunday.
Skies will remain clear tonight and temperatures will fall into the mid 60s by Sunday morning. Winds will be light, so we could see some fog develop by the morning as well.
Expect sunshine for the first part of the day tomorrow, but clouds will then increase and we’ll see a chance of showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. A few storms could even be strong to severe, so make sure you stay weather aware if you have outdoors plans later in the day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Scattered showers and storms will continue Sunday night, Monday and into Tuesday. There will be dry time during this period, but also several showers and thunderstorms. Despite the scattered storms, temperatures will still be quite warm with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
Rain chances will continue for the middle and end of the workweek, but the chances will be much smaller. Temperatures will remain warmer than average in the upper 80s.
As of right now, the 4th of July weekend is looking dry and continued warm.
Enjoy your night! –Michelle Poedel
