Classic rock band KANSAS to kick off Wisconsin State Fair
MILWAUKEE (WKBT) – Classic rock icon KANSAS will kick off the 2022 Wisconsin State Fair’s first weekend of music on August 5.
Known for hits like Carry On My Wayward Son and Dust in the Wind, the rock group has produced eight gold albums, three sextuple-Platinum albums and one Platinum live album.
Opening for KANSAS will be another popular classic rock group, ASIA (featuring John Payne), who produced classics like Heat of the Moment, Don’t Cry and Only Time Will Tell.
The concert begins at 7:30 PM on the State Fair Main Stage. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning 9:00 AM June 2 at WiStateFair.com. All seating for this show is reserved, and tickets are $30, $35, and $40. Each ticket includes admission to the 2022 Wisconsin State Fair for the day of the show, when purchased in advance.
