City Plan Commission approves rezoning for largest Kwik Trip

Plans for the biggest Kwik Trip ever in La Crosse are moving forward after the City Plan Commission votes to rezone the property it would be built on.

The ordinance approved on Monday would move property from a Multiple Dwelling District to Commercial District, allowing the convenience store to be built at 3305 Mormon Coulee Road and 1906 Ward Avenue.

These properties currently include buildings for businesses such as RootinCrown and Fathead Steve’s, along with apartment housing.

The ordinance now goes to the Judiciary & Administration Committee’s public hearing on Tuesday.

Final action will be determined by the La Crosse Common Council on December 12th.
