City of Osseo applies for funding for safe drinking water
OSSEO, Wis. (WKBT) — The city of Osseo is an applicant for funding for safe drinking water, according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
The funds are being made through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program to improve Osseo’s public drinking water system.
DNR leaders say the project includes building a new water treatment plant facility.
The DNR is encouraging community members to submit comments regarding this decision and the potential impacts the project will present on the environment.
