City Council approves new emergency services agreement with Medary

La Crosse will now officially provide fire and emergency services to the town of Medary following Thursday’s City Council meeting.

In the past, the town of Medary has relied on the city of Onalaska for services until their agreement ended in 2017.

La Crosse has been providing emergency services to Medary since then, but will now provide those services for an annual fee.

The majority of the fees paid by Medary will go toward funding a new fire station near Valley View Mall.
