‘Tis the season for a holiday staple! Christmas tree farms are gearing up for a busy holiday season

Appointments are available for those who would like to make one

WEST SALEM, Wis (WKBT) – The most wonderful time of the year is approaching, which means it’s also time for Christmas tree shopping.

To kick off the season, Pederson’s Christmas tree farm in West Salem is open and ready for families to find their perfect tree.

The farm is expected to be open only for a few weeks, or as long as the weather permits.

Appointments are available for those who would like to make one.

And as we get closer to Christmas going tree shopping is a great way to get outside with the family.

“I think it really helps to kick the holiday season off in a lot of ways. Wrapping up thanksgiving now, and kinda getting their minds set to Christmas, and I think this kind of a good family activity,” said Adam Pederson, one of the Co-Owners of Pederson Christmas Tree Farm.

Pedersen says if you bought a bucket for your tree in previous years, you can bring it back for a $5 refill.
