Chocolate Soiree raises money for school show choirs

Logan High, Middle, and Lincoln Middle show choirs all performed

A local choir group raised money while performing for, and treating, their guests on Saturday.

Logan High School’s Classy Ladies and The Class Act, along with Logan Middle’s Touch of Class and Lincoln Middle’s 9th Street Connection, hosted their annual Chocolate Soiree, raising money for the programs. The event kicked off with performances from the show choirs, followed by an assortment of chocolate treats.

For some, this will be their last performance with these choirs.

“Being my last year, it’s really emotional and like, being that this is where I went to middle school, like growing up here, it’s just a big rush, and it’s kind of all bitter sweet, like you love it and you hate it all at the same time,” said Logan High School Senior Kindra Drake.

This is also the 30 year anniversary for the show choirs.
