Children’s Museum holds annual ‘Eggstravaganza’

600 eggs hidden for hunt

Kids in the La Crosse area are getting an early start on their Easter egg hunts.

The Children’s Museum in La Crosse is holding its annual “Eggstravaganza” again this year. A total of 600 eggs are being hidden in the museum.

In addition to the egg hunt, kids get to meet the Easter Bunny, play games and spend “Bunny Money” for treats and prizes.

Children’s Museum Education Director Christine Knudsen says it’s a good way to get the entire family together.

“Holidays are always a great family time, and that’s what we promote year-round is just to come and have some fun together as a family, put away those cell phones and enjoy just some quiet fun time,” Knudsen said.

If you missed the event Friday morning, there is one more chance to attend on Saturday morning, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
