Cheese Corner in Viroqua officially reopens for business

VIROQUA, Wis. (WKBT) – A popular deli in Viroqua is officially back in business.

Disability service provider, VARC, hosted a ribbon cutting at the Cheese Corner to celebrate its reopening Tuesday.

The Cheese Corner shut down when the pandemic started.

VARC bought the deli in February of this year.

The menu will remain relatively the same, but the building is getting some structural improvements, says VARC President and CEO Liz Filter.

“Everybody is very excited to have the deli back open and get their favorite sandwiches,” Filter said. “We’re very honored to be a small part of that, and hope that we can continue the legacy after all of these years.”

Filter says VARC is hiring for several positions for people with disabilities.
