Changes coming to La Crosse Regional Airport
Funds approved for terminal renovations
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A part of La Crosse Regional Airport is getting a much needed make over.
The current terminal is more than 25 years-old and in need of renovations. The city’s Aviation Board approved additional funds for the project Monday, making the total cost about $ 13 million.
Airport officials say it’s something that’s needed not only for the airport, but its visitors as well.
“This is a true rehabilitation and repurposing of the facility. It will be a great addition and an upgrade for the local community when they fly out of the La Crosse Airport,” said Clinton Trop, Airport Manger.
The funds could be available by the end of the week.
