Chance Of T-Showers Tonight, Especially South -Bill Graul
Periods Of Showers & T-Storms Likely Saturday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 70F / Saturday’s Forecast High: 78F…
A frontal boundary sits just to our south and will be the focus for scattered showers and storms tonight. This chance of rain will try to creep northward overnight, but weaken as it does… so the best rain chances tonight will be south of I-90. Otherwise, expect a mostly cloudy and muggy night with lows in the 60s to around 70F.
Low pressure will track east along the front and lift it farther north into our area on Saturday morning. This will cause periods of showers and storms to be likely across the region on Saturday, with highs in the mid-upper 70s. There could even be some strong to isolated severe storms during the afternoon and evening hours, mainly south/east of La Crosse. Locally heavy rain could occur in some spots as well, if storms track over the same areas. You may want a “Plan B” if you have outdoor plans on Saturday.
Sunday will be drier with just a slight chance of showers and t-storms, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Highs Sunday will warm back to around 80F.
Looking Ahead… The pattern will remain fairly active next week, with at least slight chances for showers and t-storms each day. However, there will be plenty of dry hours each day as well… but just keep that rain gear handy just in case. Highs will range from the upper 70s to mid 80s on most days, with overnight lows in the 60-65F range.
Have a good night and a great weekend ahead! -Bill Graul
