Chance Of Showers & T-Storms For Some Tonight -Bill Graul
Chance Of More Storms Tuesday, Especially Afternoon & Evening
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 67F / Tuesday’s Forecast High: 84F…
A weak boundary sits just west of the area and will bring the chance for some scattered showers and t-storms tonight in some areas, especially through about midnight. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies with lows in the 60s. It will be rather muggy as well.
Additional showers and t-storms possible Tuesday, especially during the prime heating of the afternoon and early evening hours. Otherwise, expect seasonably warm temps with highs in the low-mid 80s with more clouds than sun.
Partly sunny and mainly dry Wednesday, with highs in the mid 80s. Slight chance of showers and t-storms Thursday with highs in the low 80s.
Looking Ahead… Forecast models are at odds heading into the 4th of July holiday weekend. Some models park an upper level low pressure system over the region, which would result in at least slight rain chances each day. Other models have us dry and quite warm. For now, I’ll split the difference with at least small chances for showers and t-storms each day… but be sure to stay tuned for updates through the week. Hopefully we’ll get some more agreeable model data as the week progresses. Highs will mainly be in the 80s, with lows ranging from the upper 50s to mid 60s.
Have a great Monday evening! -Bill Graul
