Chance Of Periodic Light Snow Or Flurries Today & This Evening

Wednesday’s Forecast High: 27F / Tonight’s Low: 20F – Last updated Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 8:45 AM…

A rather disorganized clipper type system will bring periodic light snow showers or flurries today. Otherwise, expect a cloudy and cold day with highs in the mid-upper 20s. Snow accumulations should be minor, generally in the trace to 1″ range for most. Even though this isn’t much snow, there could still be slippery spots on area roads… especially in any areas that are impacted by more persistent or moderate snow showers.

Chance of light snow showers or flurries this evening, then mostly to partly cloudy skies overnight. Lows tonight will be in the upper teens to around 20F.

Mostly sunny and not quite as cold Thursday, with highs in the low 30s. Partly sunny and a bit warmer Friday with highs in the upper 30s.

Looking Ahead… Expect highs in the upper 30s to near 40F for the weekend as well, with increasing clouds Saturday. A weak disturbance will bring a slight chance of light rain or snow showers Saturday night into Sunday.

Monday is looking mostly cloudy with highs in the low 40s. Another weak disturbance will bring a slight chance of a light mix or rain showers Monday night into Tuesday. Highs Tuesday will be in the low 40s.

More seasonable temps are expected Wednesday with highs in the mid 40s, under partly sunny skies. A stronger system is being advertised for later next week, bringing a chance of mainly rain on Thursday… perhaps mixing with snow Thursday night. Highs Thursday will be in the mid 40s.

Have a good Wednesday. -Bill Graul
